RONCEVERTE W.Va. (WVDN) – The Ronceverte Volunteer Fire Department is holding a hiring event for various positions at its Firehouse Diner stand at the State Fair of West Virginia. According to the official Facebook event page, the event is scheduled for Aug. 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. and will take place on the fairgrounds.
The department is looking for dedicated individuals to join their team as waitresses, waiters, cooks, and kitchen preps. Waitresses and waiters will be responsible for taking orders, serving food, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Cooks will be tasked with preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to maintain the high standards of the Firehouse Diner. Candidates should have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a passion for cooking.
Kitchen preps will assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support cooks and other staff. Ideal candidates should be organized, efficient, and able to work well under pressure.
