FAIRLEA- Greenbrier East and James Monroe Faced off in some summer 7-on-7 sessions on Thursday, June 27 in what was like most other days over the last couple of weeks; HOT.
Not having an official roster for either team made it semi difficult to nail down who each player was, but both the Mavs and the Spartans had some nice plays.
There were several touchdown catches from each side as well as some interceptions. East also played Bath County (VA) and had some standout plays in that session as well.
In the big man camp segment on the other side of the field, James Monroe’s linemen displayed good agility and speed and look like they will be a handful for opposing team’s this coming season yet again.
On the other hand, the Spartans had some rather athletic looking big men as well as several ran extremely well in one drill and considering the heat, they did not look as fatigued as they probably should have been
