WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WVDN) – The Friends of the White Sulphur Springs National Fish Hatchery invites the community to an open house on Thursday, June 20, at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Hatchery Amphitheater, located at 400 E. Main St., White Sulphur Springs.
This free event is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the vital role the hatchery plays in raising fish for recreational fishing and conservation efforts. Attendees will have the chance to:
• Discover the hatchery’s work: Explore the process of raising fish from eggs to adults, and how they contribute to healthy fisheries.
• Meet the Friends: Get to know the members of the Friends group and learn how they support the hatchery’s educational programs and outreach initiatives.
• Become a Friend: Those interested in supporting the hatchery’s mission can find out more about becoming a member of the Friends group.
