ALDERSON W.Va (WVDN) – Andrew Utterback is a young and vivacious Alderson man who chose a beautiful May day to open his new office for American National Insurance, Inc. Previously working for State Farm for about a year, Andrew saw the chance to open his owner/agent business when that owner moved to Beckley. Being raised on a farm in Alderson, Utterback wanted to stay where he was raised to open his business doors.

President of Main Street Alderson, Donald Sutherland, and Town Council Member Doris Keadle welcomed Utterback to the neighborhood, along with several local business owners such as Jessica Marvin from Tasty Bites and Small Delights. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was reminiscent of small-town life, and the community’s support is indicative of West Virginia pride.

Utterback stated,  “I was born and raised on my family farm in Southern West Virginia and it means a lot to me. My love for the farm and my family is what got me into the insurance business. I want to be able to help and protect my family, friends and community. I’m [also] honored to be a firefighter and EMT in my hometown. Helping people is in my blood so I have extended this into my career. I am humbled that I was blessed with this opportunity with American National. Having the support of the community here today, lets me know this is a great decision. I don’t want you walking around thinking you’re covered, I want you to know you’re covered and with peace of mind.”

American National Insurance has a longstanding history; they know what it takes to help clients when they need it the most. This American National agent believes in providing you with a personal experience rooted in the company’s values: integrity, respect and excellent service. See Utterback for more information safeguarding your home, auto, life, renters, farm and ranch, annuities or businesses.

The new office is open for business Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at 1401 Riverview Ave. East, Alderson, WV. You may call Utterback at 304-646-0078 or email him at andrew.utterback@american-national.com for a free insurance review.
