It is with great sadness that the family of Cecil Grey Callison announces his passing on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the age of 80 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William H. Callison Sr. and Gladys Hanna Callison; son, Bruce Wayne Callison; sister, Ella Jane Montgomery; brother, William H. Callison Jr.; and granddaughter, Shayla Denise Callison.
Cecil will be lovingly remembered by his loving wife of 60 years, Anna “Joyce” Callison; children, Jay (Shelby), Jerry (Denise), Rich (Teresa), and Tracy (Wanda); and daughter-in-law, Jill. Cecil will also be remembered by his 11 grandchildren, Amanda Stevens (Travis), Rebecca Grajeda (Jacob), Romney, Amanda Blanken-ship (Tommy), Nicole Belcher (Mike), Holley, Emily Bostic (James), Sarah Boggs (Chris), Jamey, Whitney Bell (Jon), and Bailey; 15 great-grandchildren, Trenton, Mason, Abry, Gray, Lena, Skyler, Eli, Kinsey, Channing, Carter, Natalia, Kyndra, Caden, Peyton, and Emberlynn. Cecil will also be missed by his sister, Margaret Ann Bowers (Lloyd).
A celebration of Cecil’s life will be at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, WV, with Pastor Steve Barnette officiating. Burial will follow in the Morningside Cemetery, Renick, WV.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service, Tuesday, at the funeral home.
