WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS W.Va. (WVDN) – The Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce’s annual dinner, held last Friday evening at the iconic Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, wasn’t just about delicious food and great company. It was a night dedicated to recognizing the achievements of the area’s business community and fostering connections for a prosperous future.
The event became a platform to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of local businesses and individuals who significantly contribute to the Greenbrier County community.
Charleston Area Medical Center was presented with the New Business of the Year Award, while Wellspring of Greenbrier earned recognition as Non-Profit of the Year. The Lunch Box was proudly awarded Small Business of the Year.
Beyond businesses, the Chamber also honored exceptional leadership. Kara D. Dense, President and CEO of the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau, received the prestigious Business Leader of the Year Award.
The evening concluded with a keynote address by a truly inspiring figure – Chef Paul Smith. A two-time James Beard Foundation Award nominee and the 2023 West Virginian of the Year, Smith undoubtedly left the audience motivated and ready to tackle the opportunities that lie ahead.
