Phyllis J. Erwin, 79, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg, WV.
She was born April 27, 1939, in White Sulphur Springs and was the daughter of Paul B. and India Sullivan Harper Sr.
Phyllis was of the Methodist faith and had spent her working years in Massachusetts.
Preceding her in death other than her parents were her husband, Julian L. Erwin; sisters, Betty Holcomb and Barbara J. Harper; brothers, William “Billy” Harper, and Paul “Pete” Harper.
Surviving are her brother, Richard M. Harper Sr. of White Sulphur Springs; several nephews and nieces; and her second family in Massachusetts.
Per Phyllis’ wishes, she was cremated, and a joint graveside service will be held for her and her husband, Julian, on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at 4 p.m., at Hillcrest Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Shari Stilgenbauer officiating.
