Judith Ann Meyer, a longtime resident of Roseville, MI, was received into the loving hands of Jesus on Friday, June 22, 2018, surrounded by the love of her family in William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. She was 72 years of age.
Judy was born on December 15, 1945, in Richmond, VA, a daughter of George and Goldie Wilson Gall.
She was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Robert Meyer, in Old Stone Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg, WV, on June 24, 1972.
The couple has lived in Roseville and are members of St. John Lutheran Church of Fraser, MI. The couple loved traveling and especially loved to spend time on Beaver Island, MI. Judy had worked as a preschool teacher for many years. She was an avid reader who enjoyed scrapbooking and playing cards. Judy was a kind and loving person who enjoyed being a grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant.
Judy is survived by her devoted husband, Robert; her loving children, Robert Meyer-Kukan (Scott), and Heather Meyer-Rubley (Jeff); and her darling grandchildren, Lucas Stier and Malia, Chaeli, and Isaak Rubley.
Visitation will be held at the Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home, 32814 Utica Rd., Fraser, on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church in Fraser, MI, at 11 a.m., with additional visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
