After 100 years of love, laughter, caring and sharing, Hazel Mae Phillips Kincaid went to be with her Lord on Friday, June 1, 2018.
She was born to Clark Benjamin Phillips and Maude Bright Hunter Phillips on January 3, 1918.
Hazel loved her church and her family and was a chartered member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
She also loved gardening and quilting. She has spread love everywhere using her quilts and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life for 53 years, Don Clay Kincaid. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Mary, Joyce, and Dot, and brothers, Richard, Benjamin, Frank, and Bill.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Morris Kincaid and wife, Joyce, of Newport News, VA; daughters, Sue Moore and husband, Marvin, of Daleville, VA, and Vickie Fleshman and husband, John, of Alderson, WV; granddaughters, Marla Baker and husband, Jeff, Keri Worrell and husband, Chip, and Natasha Ericson and husband, Rick; seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and one on the way; brother, Harold Phillips of Alderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at the Mountain View Baptist Church with Pastor James Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Fletcher Addition of the Alderson Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1–2 p.m. at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hazel Kincaid Memorial Fund at Mt. View Baptist Church, 2598 Flat Mountain Road, Alderson, WV 24910.
