Jonathan M. Hanna
Jonathan M. Hanna, 61, of White Sulphur Springs, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024, at CAMC Greenbrier Valley Medical Center, Ronceverte, WV.
Jon was born March 21, 1962, in White Sulphur Springs and was the son of the late Robert J. “Bobby” and Mary Coleman Hanna.
He was of the Methodist Faith. In his early working days, he helped his father in his construction company. Jon loved his music, western movies, and fishing. He loved his family and friends very much. Jon loved hard and was a very giving person, often helping his friends and neighbors. He had a wonderful sense of humor with so many comebacks, when asked how he was doing. Jon was always upbeat, no matter the situation.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two nephews, Austin Hodge and Michael Hanna, Jr.
Those left to cherish Jon’s fond memories are his sisters, Susan Kirby (Lewis) of Covington, VA, Jewel Bishop of White Sulphur Springs, Nena Hanna of Key West, FL, and Barbara Shonak (Rick) of Cape Coral, FL; brothers, Robert Hanna, Jr. of White Sulphur Springs, Pete Hanna (Karen) of Lewisburg, and Michael Hanna of White Sulphur Springs; 15 nieces and nephews; and 15 great-nieces and nephews.
Jon’s funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Bobby McClintic officiating. Interment will follow at Greenbrier Memorial Gardens in Lewisburg.
The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until time of services.
