Kenneth C. “K.C.” Hoke Sr., 91, of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Monday, May 21, 2018, at Autumn Way Assisted Living in Rupert, WV.
Born April 15, 1927, at White Sulphur Springs, WV, he was a son of the late Lawrence A. and Lula L. Sawyers Hoke.
K.C. was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in White Sulphur Springs; a WWII and Korean Army Air Corps Veteran, and was a retired sergeant with the Lewisburg Police Department. He was a proud American and served his country with honor.
In addition to his parents, K.C. was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Pinnell Hoke; and a son, Kenneth C. Hoke Jr.
Survivors include a son, Barry Hoke (Donna) of Lewisburg; a daughter, Rose Mary Allen (John) of Waldorf, MD; grandchildren, Philip Carby Allen, K.C. Hoke III, Robert Elbert Hoke, Darcy Ann Hayes, and Brent Pyne; and great-grandchildren, Grayson Carby Allen, Bailey Allen, Rosealia Hayes, Tyler Hayes, Anthony Hayes, Kenneth Hayes, Gavin Pyne, Mason Pyne and Ella Pyne.
A visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in White Sulphur Springs.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in White Sulphur Springs, with Bishop Troyer officiating.
