RONCEVERTE W.Va. (WVDN) – Each month the American Heritage Music Hall in Ronceverte chooses an individual as the month’s VVP (Very Valuable Person). The December 2023 recipient is Wanda Boone. The following is the announcement provided by AHMH.
“Congratulations to Wanda Boone for being our December’s recipient of the VVP Award (Very Valuable Person) of the American Heritage Music Hall.
This certificate of appreciation given on December 31, 2023, is to recognize the dedication, hard work and time put in to ensure the Music Hall is a success.
Wanda is a great chef and is the No. 1 helper in the kitchen on Tuesdays and Saturdays. She is always ready to help and needs no instructions. She jumps right in and does what needs to be done. She is also a very good driver for her sufficient other, Sam Lane.
Wanda will be featured in the newspaper with her picture, and will also receive an award cup, 4 free passes and a picture to take home. And will be featured on the “Award Wall”. Thank you so much, Wanda Boone, for all your help in keeping music alive.

Boon was presented with her award, cup, free passes and other gifts on Jan. 9. American Heritage Music Hall officials stated, “We are honored to place her picture on the award wall. We appreciate Wanda’s contributions to keep live music alive.”
