Frederick Lyle Teubert

Frederick Lyle Teubert, 88, of Lewisburg, WV, went home to be with his Lord, surrounded by his family, Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center.

Born March 16, 1935, in Big Creek, WV, he was the son of Edward and Cecilia Teubert. He loved his family and served his community by working at Kroger for forty-four years as the Produce Manager. Following that, he and Ann ran the Gingerbread Cottage, and Fred was known affectionately as “Paw Paw” to many children that passed through their doors. Fred was the patriarch of his family.

Fred was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt with his family and ride motorcycles. He loved spending time at the family farm, riding his four-wheeler. Fred was a Christian, who loved the Lord. He attended the Greenbrier Valley Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs and served his church and sang in the Scrap Iron Quartet and was the song leader for many years. In recent years, Fred attended Grace Bible Church in Asbury.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Teubert; brothers, Eddie Teubert, Bobby Teubert, and Roy Teubert; and sister, Marie (Zac) Zackoski.

Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-eight years, Margaret Ann Teubert; his children, Michael (Dorcus) Teubert, Randy (Tammy) Teubert, Chris (Joan) Teubert, Scotty (Melissa) Teubert; sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Bell and Kathy Teubert; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, December 28, 2023, at the Grace Bible Church, Asbury, WV, with Pastor Mike Teubert officiating. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the church. Burial will follow the service, Thursday, in the Greenbrier Memorial Gardens, Lewisburg, WV.

Online guestbook can be signed at www.morganfh.net.
