RONCEVERTE W.Va. (WVDN) – The Ronceverte Baptist Church (RBC) has planned some Christmas programs. Church officials said, “we would like to invite the community to come and worship with us especially if you do not have a church home this Christmas season.”
On Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m., there will be a concert featuring the progressive southern gospel group Phillips and Banks. Married couples, Jacob and Carmen Phillips and Caleb and Autumn Banks bring a distinctive and smooth sound to their music. This will be their second concert at RBC, and the church is very grateful that they were able to fit them in for their Thrill of Hope Christmas Tour.
On Sunday morning, Dec. 17, at 11, the RBC choir will present a Christmas cantata entitled The Colors of Christmas. This musical contains familiar carols, some well-known melodies with updated lyrics and some newer songs of the season.
Finally, on Christmas Eve, there will be a candlelight service beginning at 6 p.m.
Pastor Scott Kapple and the congregation invite all to attend these services. The church is located at the corner of Main Street and Locust Street.
