Nellie L. Carter, 81, of Lewisburg, WV passed away, Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center.
Born March 23, 1937, at Glace, WV, she was the daughter of James Ernest and Rosella Hoke Morris.
Nellie was retired from ABB as a production tech.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Carter; daughter, Debbie Evans Winebrimmer; brothers, James, Robert, George “Deb,” and Raymond Morris; and sisters, Beulah Dunbar, Lilly Bostic, and Fannie Alice Vance.
Survivors include her daughters, Anita Brackenrich and husband, Fred, and Dorothy Workman, all of Lewis-burg; sisters, Loretta Profetta of North Carolina and Rita Pilketon and Vernie Alexander, both of White Sulphur Springs, WV; grandchildren, Debbie Cantrell (Matt) of Ronceverte, WV, Angela Tucker of Union, WV, Justin Woolard (Amy) of Covington, VA, Jason Woolard of Ronceverte, and Elisha Jenkins (Billy) of Lewisburg, Jessica Evans and Heath Evans of Alderson, WV, and Summer Wine-brimmer of Fairlea, WV; great-grandchildren, Isaac Cantrell, Miranda Battaile, Liam and Paisley Tucker, Jonathan and Reed Woolard, Chase and Matthew Browning, and Braylon Viney.
It was Nellie’s wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
