Linda Gale Seymour, 70, of Chillicothe, OH, unexpectedly passed from this life on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at her residence.
She was born February 14, 1948, in Ronceverte, WV, the daughter of Ralph C. and Louise Morgan Masters Sr.
On August 11, 1962, she married Gordon E. “Gino” Seymour, who preceded her in death on September 25, 2017.
Linda was the manager of Gordon’s Carpet for many years. In past years, she had been an active member of the First Freewill Baptist Church, and was a devoted Christian who loved God. Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed writing.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melonie Seymour.
Surviving are her daughters, Jeanie Benson (Ronnie) and Nikki Ross (Kevin), all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Melinda, Marcus (Jessica), Sierra (Tyler), Adrian, Ashton and Jaxon; great-grandchildren, Mallorie, Liam, Makenzie, Macie and Lyndan; sisters, Nancy Chaffin and Cindy Doyle, both of Chillicothe, and Wendy Stevens (Terry) of Londonderry, OH; brothers, Ralph Masters Jr.(Mary) of Londonderry, Johnny Masters (Sue) of Chillicothe, Elliott Masters (Patsy) of Frankfort, OH, and Jeff Masters (Debbie) of Peoria, IL; sister-in-law, Jeri Burt (Jim) of Trenton, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union, with Pastors Mark Clendaniel and Tracy Chaffin officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 6–8 p.m. on Monday.
