LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The West Virginia Daily News wants to give back to our community, and we need your help. The team at WVDN started a tradition of holding a canned food drive to support local food pantries. All through November, we collect donations of nonperishable food items with a goal of 2,000 items. Unfortunately, the drive is struggling this year. With only days left to complete our goal, we need your help.
Any donations can be dropped off at the WVDN officer located at 188 Foster Street in Lewisburg through Thursday, Nov. 30, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Additionally, the Ronceverte Baptist Church BYF group is accepting donations for this drive.
Call the office at 304-645-1206 with any questions regarding the food drive. We will continue to accept donations through Nov. 30.
