Charles William O’Brien
Charles William O’Brien, 80, of Ronceverte, passed away November 15, 2023, at the Beckley VAMC.
Charles was born August 12, 1943, in Painesville, OH, and was the son of the late Mike and Agnes Patton O’Brien.
He was of the Methodist Faith, a long haul truck driver, and a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U S Army.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dwight, who was killed in action during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are his sister, Janet Dowdy (Jerry) of Stafford, VA; brother, Rodney O’Brien of Ronceverte; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Charles’ wishes were to be cremated with no services.
