The West Virginia Daily News is helping to feed the community this holiday season. During November, our annual canned food drive supports local food pantries. However, it is off to a slow start. We need your help! Please join the cause in feeding the hungry. Your act of kindness will make a difference in someone’s life by providing nourishment to those in need.
Food pantries are vital and directly benefit your community. You will be helping families right in your neighborhood. Together, let’s make a positive difference in the lives of those facing food insecurities.
If you are not able to drop off your donation at the office and would like to make a nonperishable food donation, and you subscribe to The West Virginia Daily News, your paper carrier will do the work for you! On November 28, just put your canned food donation into your paper box, and your carrier will bring it into the office for you!
Also, once again this year, we are excited that the Ronceverte Baptist Church BYF group will collect canned food items for us. Please consider donating; you may drop off your donation at The West Virginia Daily News office at 188 Foster St., Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
