White Sulphur Springs, W.V. (WVDN) – Literacy is one of the most important life skills for success. Libraries are one of the keys to supporting literacy.
A Program sponsored by the WV Library Section and the General Andrew Lewis Chapter of WVDAR wants you to read with your family during WV Family Read Week November 13th-18th. Please come in to the WSS Public Library and show your library card during normal library hours (weekdays 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Saturdays 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.). Members of all ages, in good standing, may register for a drawing to win a Book Buddy (stuffed animal). You do not need to be present to win, but you must be able to pick up the prize at the WSS Library.
The WSS Public Library will host other activities during WV Family Read Week including a family-guided scavenger hunt and their weekly Story Time for 2-5 years of age on Fridays, at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome to come to the library to promote literacy and reading in the community and state. Please call 304-536-1171 with any questions. The WSS Library is located at 344 W Main St in White Sulphur Springs.
