After defeating Princeton twice last week and losing to Beckley twice, the Greenbrier East volleyball team still advanced to the regional tournament in Beckley on Saturday, Nov. 4.
However, the Spartans season ended there after they were defeated by the George Washington Patriots.

In related volleyball news, graduating senior Dia Sauvage received another high honor. She was selected to the AVCA all-region team. Only 77 players were selected from region 5 which is made up of Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and West Virginia. For clarity, this is the last step before the process of announcing All-America teams.
