LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The Lewisburg Baptist Academy held its Operation Christmas Child Kickoff on Wednesday, Oct. 25, during chapel time. They released the following statement.
“It was an inspiring, uplifting, and joyous celebration. The students heard about the purpose of packing a shoebox, the Gospel Opportunities it provides, how to pack a box, how they can participate in Greenbrier County, and amazing stories from shoebox recipients. Then, each student and adult received a shoebox to pack. This was the best part of the event because the joy was apparent on each smiling face. Also, this prayerful attitude continued in each classroom as the students and their teachers prayed over these Gospel Opportunities immediately.
