Ralph Alexander Nash Jr., 77, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018, at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Ralph was born in Richmond, VA, on July 6, 1940 to Ralph A. Nash and Minnie Caroline Nickel, and was the oldest of two children.
He grew up in the city of Alderson, WV, then attended high school at the Virginia Episcopal School. After high school, Ralph attended college in Florida. Holding tight to his Florida Gators, he moved back to Lewisburg , WV, where he married Page Montgomery and had three children.
He pursued the real estate business, in which he built a community of friends and loved ones. Ralph was a very gentle, loving man who gave of himself to the community in many different ways. He will be remembered for his kindness, easygoing attitude, and the laughter he brought to people.
Ralph is survived by his brother, Pat Nash and wife, Debbie; daughter, Ginger Worrel and husband, Harry; sons, Brent Nash and wife, Stephanie, and Chris Nash and wife, Amy; grandchildren, Alex, Jamie, and Sam Worrel, Liam and Julia Nash, Hope and Keenan Nash, and Alexis Barfield; and friend and companion Anne Bordas.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at 2 p.m. at the Rhema Christian Center in Fairlea, WV.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Peyton Hospice House in memory of Ralph A. Nash Jr.; 1265 Maplewood Avenue, Lewisburg, WV 24901.
