LEWISBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – Police responded to a disturbance in the Lewisburg area on Monday, Sept. 4. According to the criminal complaint, an individual identified as Jason Eric Windon, 37, of Lewisburg, was allegedly screaming around a residence and refusing to leave.
The criminal complaint states that officers made contact with the caller upon arrival. The individual stated that Windon had been “acting crazy” the past few days. The document further notes that the caller said Windon is known to use drugs and had not slept for five days.
While talking with residents of the household, officers learned that Windon had reportedly pushed a pregnant woman in the home. Another individual inside the residence allegedly stated that Windon had threatened to burn down the house. The criminal complaint notes one of the victims told officers they were fearful for their safety.
Officers placed Windon under arrest and transported him to Southern Regional Jail. At the time of writing, Windon remains in SRJ. He has been assigned a $3,000 bail amount.
