PIPESTEM, W.Va. (Hinton News) –  Labor Day Weekend, which starts on Sept. 1, will soon be upon us, and it’s time to enjoy as many outdoor thrills as possible. The ideal destination for Labor Day weekend fun is Pipestem Adventures. The Pipestem Adventure Zone, Zipline and Adventure Lake are the perfect places to enjoy your last summer fling before summer comes to a close.

To make things more enticing, Pipestem Adventures is offering special discounts at the Adventure Lake and the Zipline. Join the Labor Day Party at the lake with $10 passes for walk-up guests on Sept. 4. Zipliners can make a reservation to receive a 15% discount beginning Sept. 1 to kick off the Fall ziplining season. All of the discount information and restrictions are available in the Special Offers section of the Pipestem Adventures website at www.pipestemadventures.com.

While packing in the fun, there are many ways to beat the heat at Pipestem. The obvious choice is diving into Adventure Lake, where you can float and bob in the water or play on the multitude of giant inflatables on the lake. There are 8 thrilling adventures to try at the Adventure Zone, but for a cool breeze, the best choice is a relaxing ride through the park on one of the electric bikes that make the journey nearly effortless. Flying through the air at 300 feet on the Pipestem Peaks Zipline is not only breathtaking but it is as far from the heat and congestion of the city as you can get. Parents can also take their younger kids to the Splash Park and Kids’ Zone, where they can slide and run around through spraying flowers, animals and fountains.

Pipestem is the ultimate summer playground. Many other opportunities for fun and adventure at Pipestem include white water rafting, horseback riding, kayaking, golfing and rock climbing. Join the fun before summer comes to an end.

View all of the Pipestem Adventures activities at www.pipestemadventures.com. Pipestem activities can be booked by calling 1-833-WV-Parks (1-833-987-2757), visiting wvstateparks.com, or using these links: wvstateparks.com/things-to-do/aerial-tours/pipestem-peaks/,  wvstateparks.com/pipestem-adventure-zone/ and wvstateparks.com/park/pipestem-resort-state-park/adventure-lake-and-splash-park/.
