DROOP MOUNTAIN, W.Va. (WVDN) – On Sept. 9 and 10 (10 a.m.-5 p.m.), leave the main roads and discover the rich vein of creativity running through the scenic Droop Mountain area of Northern Greenbrier and Pocahontas Counties during the 5th Annual Droop Mountain Artisans Studio Tour. Around 30 guest artisans will be located across four studio sites on and around Droop Mountain from Renick to Hillsboro.
You will find fresh, unique, and limited handmade pieces while enjoying the drive-around open studio tour. Catch artisans at work with their tools of the trade throwing and decorating clay, blacksmithing, knifemaking spinning, weaving, sewing and more. Kids will appreciate the ongoing demonstrations and make-and-take activities throughout this event! Food will be available.

Yew Mountain Center
Local crafters offer make-and-take projects for all ages as well as showcasing their own work for sale. Marked hikes, canoe rides, lodging, and camping are available onsite at this educational non-profit that provides year-round programs exploring ecology, culture, and the arts.
