MAXWELTON (WVDN) – Members of the Maxwelton Ruritan Club recently completed work on the flower bed at the Greenbrier County 911 Operations Center in Maxwelton. Members Joan Vance, Tom Vance, Mike Williams and Debbie Bowman removed all the weeds and planted flowers.
The club members will maintain the flowers, and the community can look forward to beautiful blooms of Dutch Iris, Blackeye Susan, and impatiens soon. American flags were placed for Independence Day and will be placed on other holidays. The Maxwelton Club also maintains the flowerbed at the Maxwelton Post Office.
Ruritans hope to make the community a better place to live, work and raise a family. They always need new members to help achieve their goals.
