Walter B. “Zemph” Sapanski III, 67, of Lewisburg, WV, died Sunday, November 19, 2017, at his home.
Born April 20, 1950, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Theresa Sapanski and the late Walter B. Sapanski Sr.
Zemph has called West Virginia his home since 1973. He was a musician and piano turner.
Surviving Zemph are his mother, Theresa Sapanski; daughters, Aracoma Smith (Chris) and Justine Limber Sapanski (Brian Dates); grandchildren, Kendal and Bryan Smith and Logan Dates; and siblings, Robert Sapanski (Katy), Theresa and Ellen Sapanski, Keith and Kevin Sapanski, and Claudia Poorman (Michael, her late husband).
A celebration of Zemph’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a fund set up in Zemph’s name at City National Bank to help cover funeral costs.
McCraw Funeral Home in Lewisburg is in charge of arrangements.
