Greenbrier County, W.V. (WVDN) – In a late-night incident in Greenbrier County, a man from Raleigh County allegedly opened fire at patrons of a local club.
On July 1st, at about 1:30 am, local police were dispatched to Deb’s Party Club in Rainelle following reports of a man discharging his firearm at people.
Dispatch provided a description of the suspect – a man wearing a read shirt and blue jeans, last seen walking towards Charmco along Route 60.
The officers spotted a man fitting the dispatch description sitting by Route 60 while on their way to the club. The man, later identified as Hunter Anthony Harrah, was immediately detained by the officers.
Police also found and secured a Glock 43 9mm at the scene. Upon reaching the club, police were informed by several patrons that Harrah, visibly drunk, had been requested to leave.
Harrah responded to the request by drawing his firearm and aiming it at the surrounding club-goers. Harrah then allegedly proceeded to Route 60, aimed his firearm at the crowd, and fired about seven rounds.
Harrah now faces seven charges of wanton endangerment with a firearm and one count of brandishing a deadly weapon.
