CHARLESTON, WV- Fifteen athletes from the Greenbrier County Special Olympics competed in the State Special Olympics summer games in Charleston, WV at Laidley Field on June 2nd and 3rd. Games consisted of track and field Events. Nine athletes competed and brought home several gold, silver, and bronze medals.
Six athletes competed in corn-hole and won gold medals and silver medals.
“Each one of these amazing athletes are winners in our book. We are so proud of all their hard work, dedication, and big hearts. They are truly a phenomenal group of young men and women,” coach Heather Mustain said.
