The Greenbrier County Republican Club will conduct its monthly meeting on Thursday, June 1, at the Old Stone Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall (entrance on Foster Street). Club President Gordon Campbell will begin the meeting promptly at 6:30 p.m.

The scheduled program is West Virginia auditor and gubernatorial candidate, J.B. McCuskey, who will discuss his campaign and answer questions. This is the first in a series of Republican candidate introductions with a question-and-answer period. Attendees are urged to visit the candidate’s website prior to the meeting.

Additional scheduled appearances are Thursday, July 6, Rashida Yost; Thursday, August 3, Chris Miller; and Thursday, September 7, current West Virginia Secretary of State Mac Warner. All have announced their candidacy for governor. Mike Stuart, a West Virginia senator and announced candidate for attorney general, will speak at a date to be determined.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meetings. Membership is not required but certainly appreciated.
