UNION, W.Va. (WVDN) – The 68th annual Farmer’s Day celebration begins Friday, June 2, and continues through Saturday, June 3.
FRIDAY, JUNE 2
• 8-11 p.m. – street dance with Buddy Allen and Cheat River Band; kids’ activities by Hillbilly Fun
SATURDAY, JUNE 3
• 7:45 a.m. – Farmer’s Day 5K, 10K and fun walk
• 8 a.m. – Registration for horse show and parade. All equine to Hinkle Farm
• All parade entries to Mountain View Drive
• 10 a.m. – Presentations, royalty recognition
• Scholarship recognition
• 10 a.m. – Monroe County Historical Society Museum open
• 11 a.m. – Grand parade
• 12 p.m. – Union Pool opens
• 12:30-3 p.m. – Cruise In classic car show
• Register at Wilson Bros Auto Parts, NAPA
• 1:30 p.m. – Horseshoe tournament located in Union Park
• Sponsored by Kalico Kitchen, Union
• 1:30 p.m. – Horse show located at Hinkle Farm on Willow Bend Road

• 7 p.m. – Raffle drawing on Main Street
