Curtis Dale Callison, 52, of Charleston, WV, formerly of Renick, WV, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Charleston Memorial, General Division, from cardiac arrest.
Born January 25, 1965, in Ronceverte, WV, he was the son of Virginia Spencer Callison and William H. Callison Jr.
Curtis was disabled and lived in Charleston for over 30 years. He was a Christian and attended church in Charleston.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gladys and William H. Callison Sr. and Ruth and Philmore Withrow; and his beloved cat, Sammy, in 2016.
Survivors include his sister, Cynthia Fleshman and husband, Randall, of Renick; brother, Jeffrey Callison and wife, Jenny, of Williamsburg, WV; nephews, Brian Callison and wife, Abby, of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Colt Callison of Marlinton, WV, and Caden Callison of Williamsburg; a niece, Christy Fleshman of Frankford, WV; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, grandnieces, and a grandnephew.
There will be no visitation.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017, at 2 PM at Morningside Cemetery in Renick with Pastor Robert O. Hefner Jr. officiating.
McCraw Funeral Home in Frankford is in charge of arrangements.
