Lovetta Ann Wooten, 88, of Fairlea, WV, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV.
Born January 8, 1929, at Ronceverte, WV, she was the daughter of Walter Seymore and Lola Pearl Baker Long.
Lovetta helped in delivering many babies throughout her years of employment at Greenbrier Valley Hospital. She was a member of the Liberty Missionary Baptist Church on Teaberry Road, Ronceverte.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Gale Adkins; sons, Kenneth Darrell Weikle and Michael Thomas Weikle; grandchildren, Jennifer and Amy Dawn Weikle; and two brothers, Floyd Eugene Long and Ronald Keith Long.
Survivors include five sons, William Franklin Weikle and wife, Kay, of Organ Cave, WV, Donald L. Weikle and wife, Barbara, of Ronceverte, Richard Eugene Weikle and wife, Grace, of Fairlea, WV, Gary Allen Weikle and wife, Sharon, of Ronceverte, and Ronnie Dale Weikle of Fairlea; sister, Carolyn Sue Bailey and husband, Ronnie, of Fairlea; daughter-in-law, Linda Weikle of Lewisburg, WV; son-in-law, Floyd Adkins of Caldwell, WV; grandchildren, Eric, Kenny, Joey, Angie, Kelly, Brian, Donette, Aaron, Jimmy, Allen, and Tara; 25 great-grandchildren; one great-grant-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at 1 PM a the Morgan Funeral Home Chapel, 252 Montvue Drive, Lewisburg, with her son, Pastor Donnie Weikle, officiating. Burial will follow in the Adwell Cemetery in Ronceverte.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
