LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Despite the cool temps, crowds were out in full force Saturday for the Lewisburg Chocolate Festival.
The event, in which tasting tickets cost $1 each, was sold out; funds raised by the festival support the United Way of the Greenbrier Valley.
Folks from across the region stretched along Washington Street in downtown Lewisburg, popping into shops and restaurants to get a taste of each business’ sweet treat.
From chocolate-flavored dark beer at the Washington Street Pub to a full Alice in Wonderland chocolate scape at Harmony Ridge, there was something for every chocolate lover in Lewisburg this weekend.
The Lewisburg Chocolate Festival takes place the second Saturday of April every year.
