RUPERT, W.Va. (WVDN) – The Rupert Public Library hold an art show on April 21 and 22. T
here will be a reception on Saturday, April 22 from 5–7 p.m. The Hidden Mountain Treasures music group will perform while visitors view the art entries and enjoy food prepared by the board of trustees and staff.
All artists working in oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, mixed media and drawing are invited to submit up to three items to be displayed and judged. Artists may enter all three of their items in one category if they wish. First, second and third place ribbons, and best of show will be awarded. There will be monetary awards for the blue-ribbon winner in each category, best of show winner and the people’s choice.
This wishing to show may pick up an entry form at the library. All entries are to be framed with a wire hanger; no alligator or zigzag hangers. They will need to bring their entry form and release of liability form. There will be a fee for each entry.
