LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Harmony Ridge has announced they once again welcoming back The Greenbrier Sporting Club to the Lewisburg Chocolate Festival.

This year, head pastry chef Alyssa Mayo and her culinary team welcome festival goers to the chocolate wonders of Alice in Wonderland. 

Taste not one, but two amazing chocolate treats that mimic the little desserts and drinks Alice enjoys to make herself bigger or smaller in her magical wonderland, the “Drink Me,” a white chocolate black raspberry milk shooter, and the “Eat Me,” a cookies and cream petit four. 

The 15th annual Lewisburg Chocolate Festival takes place Saturday, April 8, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Tasting tickets for the Chocolate Festival can be purchased at www.lewisburgchocolatefestival.com. Those planning to attend should not wait to get their tasting tickets; tickets sell out every year.

Other events during the festival weekend are:

Farm to Table Breakfast on Saturday, April 8, 7-10 a.m. at Hill and Holler;

Chocolate Chase 5k/10k on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 9 a.m., beginning at the Greenbrier County Courthouse, 912 Court Street N, Lewisburg, WV 24901. Complimentary Candyland Photos all day on Saturday, April 8, at Sheena Pendley Photography Studio, 846 N Court St.;

Live music with Charissa Joy on Saturday, April 8, at the Washington Street Pub;

Furry Friend Adoption Fair by the Greenbrier Humane Society on Saturday, April 8, on the Carnegie Hall lawn;

Treasure Hunt, sponsored by WV Public Broadcasting on Saturday, April 8, all over downtown;

Chef demo with Chef Desarae Bittle on Saturday, April 8, at 11:30 a.m. at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center;

Chef demo Executive Pastry Chef Jean Francois on Saturday, April 8, 1 p.m. at the Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center;

Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8, at 3 p.m. at Hill & Holler;

Story Walk, Hosted by the Lewisburg Public Library, on Saturday, April 8, all over downtown; and

“Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory” movie on Saturday, April 8, at 12 p.m. at Greenbrier Valley Theatre.
