WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WVDN) – In an effort to assist in the revitalization already taking place in White Sulphur Springs, the city is initiating a free spring cleanup campaign.

This campaign will run from Monday, March 27-Friday. March 31, and Monday, April 3-Friday, April 7, on citizens’ regular garbage route.

The city will offer clean up and removal of yard debris, appliances, recyclables, trash, etc. for property owners and tenants at no charge.

In order to participate, citizens must go to City Hall and fill out a request form, then bring all items to the edge of their property where
they would place their regular garbage to be picked up.

Spring cleanup items will be picked up during citizens’ regular garbage day of the week for each week.

The city will not pick up tires, concrete or hazardous materials such as oil, gas or acids.

Recycling will be picked up on the regular recycling schedule — the first and third Monday of each month.

Appliances will be picked up on the regular appliance pickup schedule — the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

Anyone who would like to request spring cleanup/pickup can stop in City Hall or call 304-536-1454 to be put on the list to assure pickup.
