April D. Fox’s fate was sealed Friday, May 12, when she was given the maximum sentence of 40 years in a state pentitentiary for the death of 6-year-old James “Shane” Yancy. Fox was previously found guilty by a jury of child abuse resulting in the young boy’s death.
