Patricia Ann Henson, 73, of Asbury, WV, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA.
Born November 18, 1943, at Organ Cave, WV, she was the daughter of Gray and Nina Morgan Bostic.
Pat had retired from the Greenbrier County Board of Education as a bus driver. She was very instrumental in founding the Greenbrier County Emergency Ambulance Service. Pat was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church at Asbury.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas E. Lipps; second husband, Thomas “Tom” Henson; a daughter, Clara Jane Thomas; great-grandson, Lewis Ray English; two brothers, John and Donald Bostic; and sister, Phyllis Bostic Furry.
Survivors include her son, T.R. Henson II of Asbury; daughters, Lisa Lipps of Asbury and Tonya Henson of Clintonville, WV; sister, Florence Jones and husband, Cohen, of Muddy Creek Mountain, WV; eight grandchildren, Tiara Henson, Cynthia Stacks, Jessica Terry and husband, Shawn, Samantha Thomas, Andrew Davis, Elliot Greer, Tabatha Jahn, and Ivalee Keen; two great-grandchildren, Kaylea Jade and Claralynn Grace Terry; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, April 10, 2017, at 1 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home in Lewisburg, WV. Burial will follow in the James Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Clintonville.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
