LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – Denim Day is a fundraiser where the staff of the Robert C. Byrd Clinic team has the chance to break their dress code policy if they donate $2 to a local charity each Friday.
Every year, the staff votes to decide which charity receives these funds. Over the past few weeks, the clinic has highlighted some of the local organizations that do so much for those in need and have received the Denim Day donations.
For the final week, the clinic is putting the spotlight on West Virginia Kids Cancer Crusaders.
This organization was created as a collaborative group of individuals, medical professionals and organizations that promote awareness, support, education and a unified voice in support of those children who are fighting cancer. They believe no one should fight this battle alone.
Robert C. Byrd Clinic thanks West Virginia Kids Cancer Crusaders for the service they provide for West Virginia families who are waging a battle against cancer. The clinic staff are proud to be able to help in any way they can.
