LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVDN) – A nice, new building is in the process of being built in right field at Spartan Yards in Fairlea.
The facility will provide a dry place for the baseball team to practice when the weather is not cooperating.
Donations are being accepted so that the building can get finished in a timely manner without having another pause in construction.
Head coach Cory Mann updated on the situation with the following:
“We are in the process of getting heat now, then I hope to get the turf laid and cages up. As we finish the bathrooms, coaches’ office and locker room, we are trying to make a push for money to keep the project moving and not be at another standstill.”
