The Greenbrier County Republican Club will meet in the dining room of Morgan Funeral Home on Thursday, March 2, at 6:30 p.m. The new venue is necessitated by ongoing renovations of the Greenbrier County Courthouse.
Morgan Funeral Home is located at 252 Montvue Drive. Arrive by driving north of I-64, turn east off Rt. 219 North by The Very Thing on to Montvue Drive.
The meeting speaker is Commissioner of Agriculture Kent Leonhardt, who will discuss the accomplishments of the state agriculture department and its future plans. Leonhardt’s tenure has been quite successful with projects for veterans, students and the development of new agriculture ventures.
Future political plans will be addressed, and questions are welcomed.
Memberships may be renewed or initiated for 2023.
Tickets for the annual dinner, themed the “Save America Dinner,” will be available. Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is the keynote speaker for the event to be held at The Dutch Haus at the Elks Country Club on Saturday, April 29.
