BAILEY
David Lee Bailey, 76, of Lewisburg, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at CAMC General Division in Charleston.
Born December 12, 1946, in Beckley, WV, he was a son of the late John and Dorothy Hall Bailey.
David was a retired Safety Engineer with Maryland Casualty Insurance Company, was a member of Lewisburg United Methodist Church, Greenbrier Chapter 42 AF&AM Masonic Lodge, Greenbrier Valley Shrine Club, Lewisburg, Beni Kedem Shrine Temple, the C & O Historical Society of Clifton Forge, and was a graduate of Marshall University.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Fawcett Bailey; and brothers, Jim Bailey of Falmouth, VA, and Robert Bailey and his wife, Evelyn, of Forest Hill, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in Lewisburg, with Rev. Bev. Columbo officiating. Burial followed in the Mountain View Cemetery in Marlinton.
Visitation was one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
