Rolanda Dale Bennett Berry, 61, of Alderson, WV, formerly of Southampton, MA, lost her earthly battle with cancer and is now in heaven with her savior on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the Peyton Hospice House in Fairlea, WV.
Born June 15, 1955, in Cambridge, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roland Edward Bennett and the late Eleanor L. Malcolm Teesdale.
Mrs. Berry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairlea, where she was a former member of the church choir. She was also a member of the Alderson Lions Club. But above all, Mrs. Berry had a full life devoted to the Lord. She believed in God, family, and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband of 13 years, Charles L. “Chuck” Berry of Alderson; three daughters, Joy McDowell and husband, Douglas, stationed with the United States Air Force, Holly Snow and husband, William, of Belchertown, MA, and Audra Sneed and husband, Jedaiah, of Westfield, MA; two sons, Mark Berry of Suffolk, VA, and Craig Berry and wife, Anne Marie, of Quinton, VA; a sister, Susan Dukes and husband, Walter, of Secretary, MD; two brothers, Daniel Teesdale and fianceé, April Locklear, of Ambler, PA, and Donald Teesdale and wife, Tracy, of Bel Air, MD; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 23, 2016, at 2 PM at the Lobban Funeral Home Chapel in Alderson with Pastor Dallas Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton, WV.
Friends may call Saturday, October 22, from 7-9 PM at the Lobban Funeral Home in Alderson.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jedaiah Sneed, Douglas McDowell, Donnie Mason, Scott Maddy, Lee Carter, and William Snow.
Lobban Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
