Marie Morgan Roberts of Lewisburg, WV, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016, at home with her children beside her.
Born August 13, 1935, at Clintonville, WV, the daughter of Guy Stewart Piercy and Metta Faye Piercy.
Marie was a loving wife and mother of four children.
Beside her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Ausbey Roberts; her son, Dale Lee Morgan; grandson, Dale Lee Morgan Jr.; brother, Marion Piercy; and a great-grandson, Brett Morgan.
Survivors include her daughter, Helen Reynolds and husband, Cecil, of Lewisburg; sons, Glenn Morgan and wife, Carol, of Lewisburg and Dickie Roberts of Lewisburg; eight grandchildren, Heather Reynolds and fiance, Brandon Williams, of Ronceverte, WV, April Morgan of Ronceverte, Joseph and Samuel Morgan of Lewisburg, Adam Roberts (Telia) of White Sulphur Springs, WV, Emma-Leigh Roberts and Austin Roberts of Currituck, NC, and Angellena Morgan of Lewisburg; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Melvin Piercy of Clintonville, Maynard Piercy (Darlene) of North Carolina, and Cecil Piercy (Roena) of Clintonville; sister-in-law, Brenda Piercy of Sam Black, WV; a special niece, Mary Jo Piercy Klutz; and many other nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 3 PM at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Lewisburg with Pastors Phil Meyers and Gerald Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Wallace & Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville.
Friends may call from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Lewisburg on Friday.
Pallbearers are Adam Roberts, Brian Piercy, Daniel Piercy, Mark Piercy, C.L. Piercy, and Brandon Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Sammy Morgan, Joseph Morgan, Phillip Morgan, Trinity Patterson, and Tom Cross.
