Carol Sue Winebrimmer, 70, of Ronceverte, WV, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016, at Lewis-Gale Hospital in Salem, VA, after a 14-year courageous battle with cancer.
She was born August 7, 1945, in Monroe County, WV, the daughter of Kenna and Nellie Reynolds Vass.
Carol was a retired cook and a member of the Second Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Preceding her in death, other than her parents, were her husband, Alvin H. Winebrimmer; sister, Almina Dunbar; brother, Charles E. Vass; nephew, Mike Ramboldt, whom she helped raise; nephew, Ralph Steele; and brothers-in-law, Jim Dunbar and James Weikle.
Surviving Carol are her sisters, Ellen Kilianeak of Sandusky, OH, Anna Mae Weikle of Sandusky, Cleo Winebrimmer (Roy) of Fairlea, WV, and Frances Bostic (Ed) of Hollywood, WV; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Winebrimmer will be conducted Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 2 PM at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte with Pastors Don Trent and Freddie Bostic officiating. Interment will follow at New Lebanon Cemetery in Pickaway, WV.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, March 9, at the funeral home.
