A “quickly called” emergency meeting of Lewisburg City Council on Friday resulted in an executive session, a vote to reconvene the emergency meeting and a postponement of the second reading of Ordinance 254. The executive session was initiated to review legal research on the proposed nondiscrimination ordinance to amend Article 137 of the Human Rights Commission.
