Area firefighters battled icy conditions and the bitter cold early Tuesday after answering a 4 AM call to a house fire at the intersection of Boone Mountain Road and Boggs Road in Frankford. Ryan Garavaglia, a captain of the Frankford Fire Department, said that thought the fire department was quick to the scene, the extreme weather played a major role in how the fire was extinguished.
