Susan Jane Paris Litton, 69, of Alderson, WV, formerly of Charleston, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, WV, following a sudden illness.

Born April 12, 1945, in Beckley, WV, she was the daughter of the late Warden Thomas and Martha Alice Goode Paris.

Ms. Litton worked for C&P Telephone, Bell Atlantic, and was retired from BB&T. She was a wonderful mother and a kind and giving woman. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Virginia L. Rodriguez of Virginia Beach, VA; a son, Douglas W. Litton II of St. Albans, WV; five grandchildren; a brother, Ward Paris II of Charleston; three sisters, Elizabeth Paris Holcomb of Alderson, Dana Meador of Inverness, FL, and Martha Horvath of Cummings, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside memorial services and burial will be held Saturday, January 31, 2014, at 2 PM at the Alderson Cemetery in Alderson with Brother Randy Meador officiating.

Lobban Funeral Home in Alderson is in charge of arrangements.
